Saffron Skin Ritual
Simple • Traditional
A traditional beauty ritual, kept simple.
Saffron has a long history of use in South Asian beauty practices, and saffron compounds have been studied for antioxidant and skin-related activity.
Saffron Face Oil
Ingredients
- 10–15 DORI Kashmiri Mongra saffron strands
- 30 ml sweet almond oil (or jojoba oil for oily skin)
- 5 ml rosehip oil (optional but recommended)
How to Make
- Sterilize a small glass bottle with hot water and let it dry completely.
- Add the saffron strands to the bottle.
- Pour in the almond oil and rosehip oil.
- Close the bottle tightly.
- Store it in a cool, dark place for 7–14 days.
- Shake the bottle gently once every day.
- As the saffron slowly infuses, the oil develops a warm golden hue.
- Leave the saffron strands inside for continued infusion, or strain them if preferred.
How to Use
- Clean your face gently with water.
- While your skin is still slightly damp, apply 2–3 drops.
- Massage gently upward for about one minute.
- Leave overnight.
- Use 3–5 nights a week.

What can you expect?
Think fresh, cared-for and radiant-looking skin rather than a medical result.
Saffron contributes its naturally occurring plant compounds, while ingredients such as honey or yogurt can provide their own cosmetic qualities.
